Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm (extended hours available)
At StoneBridge Christian Academy, our Elementary Program (Kindergarten through Fifth Grade) is built on a leading Christian curriculum with a classical approach to learning. We intentionally focus on strong foundations in phonics, reading, and writing, because we believe confident readers become confident learners — and confident leaders. Our goal is for students to truly fall in love with reading. We want our students to choose a book while sitting in an airport rather than automatically reaching for an iPad. Through systematic phonics instruction and structured language development, students gain the tools they need to read fluently, think critically, and communicate effectively. As their confidence grows, we guide them in developing a biblical worldview and discernment, helping them understand not only how to read — but what to read and why it matters.
StoneBridge Elementary is unlike any other school. Our approach is deeply intentional. While academic excellence is a priority, our mission goes beyond academics. We are committed to laying a foundation for life by nurturing: Cognitive growth, Social and emotional development, Physical well-being, Spiritual maturity. We want students to build meaningful relationships with their peers and strong, lasting connections with their teachers. In our small-group environment, learning feels much like homeschooling — personal, relational, and attentive — yet with the structure, leadership, and accountability of a professional classroom setting.
Students are blessed with small class sizes designed for focused instruction: Homeroom Classes: 17–18 students, Primary Subject Groups: 10–12 students. For core subjects — phonics, language arts, math, science, and reading groups — students break into smaller instructional groups led by trained teachers. Our educators are enthusiastic, passionate, and trained in implementing the Abeka curriculum with excellence and consistency. In homeroom, students focus on: Bible study and review, Testing and study skills, Arts and crafts, Projects and enrichment activities. This balance allows for deep academic instruction while also fostering creativity and collaboration.
We believe children learn best when there is a healthy balance between work and joy. Our elementary students experience: Several recesses daily, Weekly Chapel, Daily prayer and worship, Intentional Bible instruction. Learning at StoneBridge is joyful. Students are encouraged to enjoy school, ask questions, and grow in confidence. Families are closely connected with administration and teachers. We cultivate a tight-knit, family-style community where communication is open and relationships are valued. Students are met at their individual level and given the tools and encouragement needed for success. Our mission is to develop Christian leaders — students who know their history, understand why they believe in Jesus Christ, think critically, lead with integrity, and are excited for the future God has planned for them. At StoneBridge Christian Academy, we are not simply educating children — we are shaping hearts, minds, and futures.
