Administration

Gabby Johnson
(Assistant Director)

I have been blessed to be a part of the Administration here at StoneBridge since the school began in 2012. I enjoy being able to work alongside a professional and loving staff that seek to serve the Lord using their gifts of teaching and nurturing young children. Each year, it is always so exciting to meet our new students, welcome back our returning students, and to see how much our students grow emotionally, spiritually, socially, and intellectually throughout the year. In my free time, my husband and I keep busy with our friends, family, church, small group, discovering new restaurants, weekend trips, and taking care of our “fur baby”, our dog Tonka.

Favorite Bible Verse: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

(Office Manager)

I feel so blessed to be at StoneBridge as the Office Manager and to be a part of this Christ-centered school. The students, parents, and staff are such a joy to work with! I am thankful for the teamwork that the Lord has established here between school and home. Every morning, it is great to see the bright smiles, hear the friendly hellos, and feel the enthusiasm and energy that our students bring to school. It is wonderful to see God’s Word in action and how our students are growing in Him. I love Jesus and it is the desire of my heart to faithfully serve Him each day. In my free time, I enjoy reading, fellowship time with family and friends, and shopping. It is a privilege to be in the Lord’s service here at StoneBridge and to have the opportunity of working with our school family!

I’m so excited for another great year at StoneBridge as part of our Administration team.  During my six years here, I have taught the 2 and 3 year olds and later our Transitional Kindergarten Class.  I attended Cal State Fullerton, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Development.  I am extremely blessed to be a part of my home church where I actively serve and participate in the greeting and worship teams. In my spare time, you can either find me at Disneyland or cheering on the Anaheim Ducks.  I am looking forward to meeting and working along with each family to make this year the best that it can be.

Favorite Bible Verse: “This is the day that Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”  Psalm 118:24

Zorana La Blanc Calloway
Red Room Teacher (3’s and Young 4’s) and Cooking Enrichment Teacher

This year, I have the pleasure of taking on a few roles here at StoneBridge.  I will be the opening teacher in the morning for all Early Bird Children (6:30-7:45am) and, throughout the day, it will be my joy to teach in the Red Room.  Lastly, I will be cooking up fun with the Enrichment Cooking Class. It has been my calling to effectively help children bloom in the early stages of their lives.  This will be my twenty third year teaching young children.  I have had the experience of teaching children from infants to Pre-K.  It has truly been fulfilling working with them all.  God has blessed me to join StoneBridge for a fifth year.  God has led me here to continue the growth of my own relationship with Him through the experiences and faith of others that I come in contact with.  Also, it is here where I have observed children take on such a love for God.  As a teacher, it is amazing not only to teach children the basic social and fundamental skills that they will use for the rest of their lives but to be a person that can share the Word of Jesus to new young minds and helping children so they can grow in the love of God and develop their own special relationship with Him.

Favorite Bible Verse: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.”  Proverbs 22:6

Katelyn McGuire
(School “Center” / Art Enrichment Teacher)

I am excited to say that this will be my fifth year here at StoneBridge.  It is such a blessing to be able to work in a Christ-centered environment where I am able to teach children about God.  I have worked in a preschool setting for the past ten years and have earned a Child Development Certificate.  I am currently attending college to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts as my goal is to be an Art teacher.  I am so thankful to be able to use my artistic talents in preparing for school events as well as teaching the Art Enrichment Class.  The scripture that I like to read is about the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).  I have it posted on my wall at home to remind myself to be prepared for the day by putting on God’s Armor.  My favorite things to do are going to the beach, mountains, Montana, and Hawaii, to bake cookies and eat the cookie dough, and spend time with my family and friends.

Favorite Bible Verse: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11

Marisol Schwalb

I am delighted to be the Kindergarten teacher and part of the family here at StoneBridge Christian Academy.  My decision to become an educator stemmed from my desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young children.  It has been my passion to help all my students grow and learn both academically and socially.  I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development.  I then continued my education at Hope International University, where I obtained my Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree in Education. I have been serving the Lord for over thirty years and have been involved in the Children’s Ministry at my church.  The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful family.  I am married and we have one incredible daughter.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, dancing, cooking, and spending time with my family.

Favorite Bible Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”  Jeremiah 29:11-13

Capri Wickersham
Red Room Teacher (3’s and Young 4’s) and Full Day Teacher

I am filled with joy to be teaching in the Red Room this year!  My foundation was built on knowing God and making Him known.  I remember my preschool years in Sunday School and learning about God’s love for me and my desire to want that forever.  I stayed involved in youth groups and became a cheerleading coach for three year olds.  This is where I found my love for leading, coaching, and teaching children.  I then went to school for Early Childhood Education where I learned that life fundamentals are developed between the ages of 0 to 5 years old.  I couldn’t believe how important those young years were!  God has put it on my heart to teach His truth along with those fundamentals.  I am filled with gratitude knowing I can help raise Kingdom Kids.  In my free time, I enjoy being involved in Children’s Ministry, Bible Study, and having lots of family time with camping and fishing.  I am truly excited to see what this year has to bring, giving all the glory to God!

I am so excited to start the new school year!  I have been with StoneBridge for six months, first teaching in TK and now in Kindergarten.  I have been so blessed not only by the amazing families, but the godly women that I get to work with.  I attended college at Lubbock Christian University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and earned a teaching certificate for California as well as Texas.  I have taught in a private Christian environment for two years and first grade in public school for two years.  I believe that school is a place for children to not only learn and grow, but to become good people that love each other and Christ, our Lord. Each child is unique and special and I love being a teacher because I can be there to witness their growth and learn from them.  I am engaged to a wonderful man and will be married this coming June.  Our favorite things to do are going to church, the movies, and Disneyland.
